Communist Soldier

A personal character design.

Originally inspired by the fashion designer Esther Quek's unique aesthetic, I wanted to create a bold female sergeant clad in the male Chinese communist's formal army uniform.

I modelled all base meshes in Maya, sculpting and texturing was done in ZBrush and the scene was lit and rendered in Cinema4D using V-Ray materials and shaders, with the eyelashes created in 3D using Cinema4D hair.
The final compositing was done across Photoshop and After Effects.
